13% share of the overall market. Given its relatively smaller share, SITE
is targeting 400 to 500 bps of above market growth with small through
medium customers. Initiatives include bilingual branches, refreshing its
partners program, welcoming/onboarding new customers & re-engaging
declining customers, product marketing, private brands, merchandising,
and training & industry events.
▪ Winning with Major and Medium Customers: Although SITE’s share with
large customers (13%) and major customers (17%) is already at or above
its overall market share, management still expects to outpace the market
by 50 to 150 bps. Key initiatives include dedicated sellers; business
development managers focused on low-share, high-opportunity
customers; leveraging SITE’s scale and technology to tailor offerings and
pricing; providing operational solutions that improve customer efficiency,
including consignment, direct ship, and sales centers; and providing
value-added services such as bid and take-off support.
▪ Private Label: Rapid growth in brands like Pro-Trade (lighting, long
handle tools, erosion control, and synthetic turf), Solstice (natural stone),
and Portfolio (premium plants). Private brand penetration is increasing
+100 bps annually.
▪ Digital: Digital sales have grown from $20 million in 2022 to a projected
