including agent inventory, shadow agent discovery, human-to-agent ownership

mapping, lineage, risk scoring, prompt security, real-time policy enforcement, and

one-click remediation. SailPoint wants to become the vendor-agnostic control plane

for AI agents across Microsoft, AWS, Google, Salesforce, Snowflake, GitHub, and

other enterprise platforms. We view this as a logical extension of the company’s core

IGA position, although the pace of monetization will depend on how quickly

enterprises move from AI experimentation to production deployments with formal

governance requirements. SailPoint is allowing this to be sold as a standalone

solution, allowing them to land new customers without having to rip out the existing

IGA stack.

o SailPoint announced its intent to acquire Entro Security, which

management described as complementary to Agentic Fabric and important

for expanding coverage of secrets, tokens, API keys, JWT tokens, certificates,

and other machine-readable credentials. Entro covers 1,200+ non-human

identity types, and SailPoint plans to integrate the technology into its Agentic

Fabric post close.

n Management was explicit that human governance is also changing, not just agent

governance. This is an upgrade to SailPoint’s ISC (Identity Security Cloud) to move

customers from static access reviews toward real-time, context-aware governance

that evaluates who has access to what, where, when, and why. This includes privilege

classification, configurable SailPoint Risk Scores, just-in-time authorization,

time-bound privilege activation, policy- and intent-based governance, and zero

standing privilege.
