2) Volvo Autonomous Solutions began autonomous freight operations for a

customer between Dallas and Houston using the Aurora Driver: Per a press release,

Volvo Autonomous Solutions (VAS), leveraging trucks integrated with the Aurora driver,

started autonomous transport services for AVI-SPL between Dallas and Houston. The

press release did not state if a safety monitor was present, or how many trucks were

operating. Recall VAS started autonomous transport services for DSV using the Aurora

driver on the same route with a safety monitor last month.

3) Uber announced several robotaxi updates: Per a press release, Uber, Lucid, and

Nuro announced Houston as the second market for their robotaxi program, with Nuro

already conducting on-road autonomous testing with a safety operator. The companies

expect to launch the service in Houston in mid-2027 exclusively on the Uber network,

with plans to expand to dozens of additional markets over the coming years. Recall the

companies announced the initial partnership in July 2025, and are planning to be driver

out this year on the Uber network in San Francisco.

Per another press release, Uber and WeRide announced plans to bring robotaxis to

Zurich, their second city in Europe. Public operations are expected to begin later this

year on the Uber network, with Rydera acting as the local fleet operator. The fleet will

scale progressively and in coordination with the authorities as performance milestones

are met, including the transition to fully driverless commercial services in core urban

areas, though a timeline was not provided in the release. Recall Uber and WeRide

announced plans to bring robotaxis to Madrid earlier this month.
