NEWSFLASH | 8 JUL 2026
Enrollment completed in phase 1b CML trial
Mendus announced completion of enrollment for the first stage of the VITAL-CML trial (NCT07651878), which comprises 8
chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) patients with suboptimal TKI response. The investigator-led phase 1b trial tests whether
vididencel can safely deepen molecular responses, potentially qualifying patients for treatment-free remission. Initial safety
and early efficacy data are expected in 2H 2026, with an additional 16 patients planned to be recruited. Positive results would
enable further phase 2a development in CML.
