to support, including businesses with weaker credit profiles and higher
operating-risk characteristics.
Why it matters

strengths lie in credit underwriting, risk management, and asset-light
payment platforms, ZenToshin's model was heavily reliant on pre-
funding merchants and frequent early settlements. As a result, liquidity
and funding availability were much more critical, leaving the company
structurally more vulnerable when profitability and funding conditions
deteriorated.
