VEEV - Catch Up With the Company on Recent Investor Focus Areas (Copli, Falcon, eSource, CRM, & LT Targets)

Data Interoperability and eSource Strategy. VEEV addressed the industry’s growing focus on data interoperability, particularly the need

to connect EHR/EMR systems with clinical trial platforms such as EDC and CTMS - a theme which was very frequently discussed at

our Healthcare Disrupters and Digital Health conference last week. VEEV noted that the broader goal is to accelerate drug development

timelines, improve patient access, and streamline enrollment. In response, The company highlighted its eSource (coming later this year) as

an offering and a core initiative aimed at bridging this gap. The platform is designed to connect EHR systems with clinical trial infrastructure,

reducing manual data transfer and improving data flow across stakeholders. However, Veeva acknowledged that data connectivity remains

a complex and unresolved industry challenge which has not been able to be solved by the number of stakeholders involved to date.

Despite this, the company expressed confidence that its footprint across patients, clinical sites, and sponsors positions it well to address

these challenges over time through eSource.

Competitive Landscape in Clinical Product Areas. Veeva described the competitive environment in clinical as most relevant in the

EDC segment, where it primarily competes with Medidata (part of Dassault Systèmes, DSY.PA, NR). While Medidata positions itself as

a broader platform player, Veeva indicated that direct competition is concentrated within EDC. The company noted that large pharma

EDC deals tend to be lumpy, with timing variability driven by customer-specific factors, and that year-to-year fluctuations are not indicative
