Total loan growth positive y-o-y for the seventh month in a row
• Total lending was up 0.5% y-o-y and up 0.1% m-o-m. Last month, total lending was up 0.7% y-o-y.
• Corporate lending was up 2.3% y-o-y and up 0.2% m-o-m. Last month, corporate lending was up 3.0% y-o-y.
• Retail lending was down 0.3% y-o-y and up 0.1% m-o-m. Last month, retail lending was down 0.2% y-o-y.
• Corporate deposits were up 4.6% y-o-y and up 0.4% m-o-m. Last month, corporate deposits increased 6.6% y-o-y.
• Household deposits were up 3.5% y-o-y and up 0.7% m-o-m. Last month, household deposits were up 3.4%
y-o-y.
• In y-o-y terms, Finland still looks weak vs. the other Nordic countries in terms of household mortgage lending growth.
However, we note the recovering corporate lending growth, which feeds through to positive total lending growth y-o-y.
