NATO. NATO chief Mark Rutte arrives in D.C. today ahead of crunch talks w/ Trump on

Wednesday & Congressional members on Thursday. This meeting is to help level set the NATO

Summit in Ankara, Turkey on July 7-8 that Trump will be attending.

Since the Epic Fury strikes began in late February, Trump has targeted the leaders of Britain,

France, Germany, Italy & Spain in Social Media posts for refusing military base access,

among other items. U.S. troop deployments to Germany & Poland were also canceled without

warning.

Trump & Senate. Between endorsing the primary challengers to Sens Cassidy (R-LA) & Cornyn

(R-TX), attacks on Senate Parliamentarian, $1.776B "weaponization fund" & the Bill Pulte DNI

selection, Trump has now likely alienated enough GOP senators to veto party-line votes.

During his Weds lunch on Capitol Hill, Trump is aiming to align GOP Senators on SAVE America

Act and "reconciliation 3.0" ahead of the August recess and midterm elections.

Iran. The Strait of Hormuz remains restricted, though ships are passing through for now.
