What happened?

We attended Datadog’s DASH 2026 user conference in person at the Javits Center in NYC. Senior executives gave

updates on the current state and trends of observability, AI, and security along with several new product

announcements. Over the last two days, we spoke with 20+ customers, some of which were significantly larger

than we would have expected at this event (please reach out to discuss our takeaways/brief survey data). Key

takeaways: many organizations have enabled AI and believe this is an accelerant to more observability, most customers

want agentic tools within their Datadog workflows, while Datadog is seen as a premium priced observability vendor

customers are willing to pay for. Of note, the new Bits AI functionality, Network Monitoring, User Journey, and Query

Optimization for Database were the most talked about new products amongst customers. We believe the pace of

innovation will help drive market share and supports our thesis that revenue growth will continue to accelerate.

Customer conversations positive on Datadog growth durability

Many investors fear Datadog’s non AI native cohort revenue/ARR growth will not sustain 20%+ but our work found that

most customers plan to increase spend with Datadog and do not plan to optimize their contracts this year. Additionally,
