NEWSFLASH | 26 MAY 2026
Scanfiber receives two maritime orders from NATO country
Scanfiber has received two orders for specialized add-on armor systems for naval vessels to an undisclosed NATO country,
totaling NOK 12m. Deliveries are set for H2'26e. Historically, the maritime mix of Scanfiber has amounted to ~10% (~NOK
16m in 2025). Management notes that heightened security demands are driving new naval builds and a marked increase in
requests for maritime armor. Scanfiber has prepared its organization for growth within the segment. We argue that the event
highlights the cross-selling opportunity with the recently announced acquisition of Frydenbø Milpro.
