Long Term Learnings for the auto ecosystem: Aftermarket fundamentals remain a favored place for steady

growth and pricing power, while the new and used vehicle backdrop normalizes. The demand backdrop is healthy

— a growing ~300mn vehicle parc, average age of ~12.8 years heading toward 13, resilient VMT, and elevated new

vehicle ATPs near $50k that drive repair-over-replace. Complexity (electronics, ADAS, SUV/CUV mix, late-2010s

vehicles entering the repair sweet spot) is a multi-year tailwind for professional-grade suppliers and scaled service

providers; technician scarcity, right-to-repair, and tooling capital intensity are the binding constraints. On

new/used, affordability is the central governor — SAAR is near a ceiling, used supply remains tight, and the

consumer is bifurcated. EVs and ADAS look more like a change in repair mix than a structural threat to aftermarket

demand.
