• On 30th July, UK motor finance lender Blue Motor Finance (“Blue Motor”) Europe Corporate Credit - Asset

announced that it has entered into administration, and that the sale of its Backed Securities

“business and the majority of its assets” to Hodge MF Limited has completed. Meghan Kelleher AC

mid-2010s – Blue Motor Finance offered fully amortising, hire purchase (HP) J.P. Morgan India Private Limited

agreements to customers to finance the purchase of motor vehicles, via its

network of dealers and brokers. The company’s annual loan originations since

2016 (through 2024) ranged between £160mm and a record £473mm (in FY

2022), with more than £2.8bn of financing provided over this period. After

obtaining an equity investment from Cabot Square in late 2014, Blue Motor

issued 3 UK Auto ABS deals via its Azure Finance programme between

2018 and 2023. The last of these transactions, Azure Finance No.3 plc

(AZURE3), remains outstanding. In addition to public securitisation, the

company’s other funding channels have included private warehouses,
