Distributor Inventories Remain Healthy: Management acknowledge
shipments came in ahead of depletions during the first quarter but emphasized
that distributor inventories remain appropriately positioned as the company moves
through the key summer selling season. The company stressed that it did not
materially build inventory ahead of the world cup and instead aligned shipments
with customer demand patterns. Looking ahead, management expects shipments
and depletions to largely converge by fiscal year-end, consistent with historical
norms, although the exact quarterly cadence could vary.
