Total spending was up ~5.9% Y/Y through July 7, roughly in-line with June’s figure

of ~6.0%. The roughly in-line month-over-month Y/Y spending growth was a result

of slightly higher M/M discretionary spending (6.5% in July vs. 6.4% in June) being

offset by lower M/M non-discretionary spending (4.5% in July vs. 5.0% in June).
