Sales volume for REP commercial truck tires was -7.3% YoY in Jun, but this was an
improvement on the total Jan-Jun figure (-12.9%).
USTMA (US Tire Manufacturers Association) released tire shipment volume data on
Jul 13 local time. The data compiles figures of member companies, including four
Japanese tire makers, and excludes imported tires from non-members. For Jun 2026,
OE shipments showed light vehicle tires -1.4% YoY and commercial truck tires +2.1%
as YoY figures improved (the same as with REP shipment volumes).
