U.S. capacity additions

Total U.S. utility-scale capacity additions (including storage) Apr-2026 YTD were

16GWac, 77% of which was solar and storage. Solar installations through Apr-2026

were -19% y/y. As of Apr-2026, the U.S. had 126GWac of generating capacity in the

pipeline that is already approved, under-construction, or completed and awaiting

interconnection with 85% of the total being either renewables or storage.

U.S. electricity generation Apr-2026 YTD: +2.1%

Apr-2026 incremental U.S. generation of +27TWh was met by Solar +21 / Nat gas +14 /

Hydro +14 / Wind +6 / Coal -28TWh. Renewables accounted for +40TWh of

YTD generation compared to fossil fuel decline of -14TWh.
