Reuters, July 9: China’s interbank bond market regulator has moved to curb short-term +852-2971 6066

bond issuance by LGFVs, as Beijing intensifies efforts to contain hidden local debt risks.

NAFMII has asked LGFVs to issue refinancing bonds with maturities of at least two years,

effectively steering them away from shorter tenors, while also tightening scrutiny of

their bond sales.
