Energy Infrastructure Policy

We are hosting Heather Exner-Pirot of the Macdonald-Laurier Institute to

discuss topical Canadian energy policy matters and their implications for crude

pipelines, LNG exports and other infrastructure projects. Please register here

more progress toward an agreement for Pathways CCUS, we are hosting Heather Exner-Pirot to

Dr. Exner-Pirot is particularly well-equipped to add insights from a policy and industry perspective,

having contributed to Alberta’s West Coast pipeline proposal herself. She can share informed views

on how regulatory and political dynamics affect potential projects across the Canadian energy

landscape.

Dr. Heather Exner-Pirot is a Senior Fellow and Director of Natural Resources, Energy, and

Environment at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute (MLI). She serves as a Special Advisor to the

Business Council of Canada, and Managing Editor of the Arctic Yearbook. She is an internationally

recognized scholar and policy expert whose work focuses on natural resource development, energy
