CMSE will require technical studies before authorizing thermal dispatch
According to MegaWhat, the Electric Sector Monitoring Committee (CMSE) has
established new guidelines to increase the transparency of decisions related to the
dispatch of generation by guaranteeing energy supply. The resolution creates a
formal procedure to support the committee's deliberations and determines the
disclosure of technical studies, financial impacts and justifications that support
each authorization. The rule organizes the decision-making process for the
activation of plants by supply guarantee, a mechanism used when it is necessary to
