political disruption. Sector rotations were evident, with policy- and regulatory-sensitive +65 6495 7426
sectors – construction, property and telcos – lagging sharply after disruptive outcomes
and outperforming during relatively stable ones. REITs showed the opposite pattern,
behaving as a defensive proxy during periods of uncertainty, while consumer and
financials showed no consistent election-linked signal. Foreigners were net sellers
around both GE14 and GE15.
