Jun’26 Update: Positive Momentum Continues to Build

as Volume Increases by %12 Y/Y, (+23.1 M/M and

+6.6% YTD) and Ongoing Market Share Growth for

Chinese OEMs

Passenger car sales across the five major European countries were up ~12% European Autos & Auto Parts

ACy/y to 973k units in Jun’26, but still remained down ~10% vs pre-COVID -19 Jose M Asumendi

540 basis points). Tesla sales were up again by ~86% y/y compared to Jun’25, J.P. Morgan India Private Limited

marking the fifth strong month of rebound after 13 consecutive months of y/y

declines. VW has maintained solid market share over the past four years. The focus

is on STLA having lost ~3% of market share in Europe over the past four years but

has gained marfket share YTD’26 hovering around 18% and looking forward to

Renault coming off a very strong product cycle which has helped the firm maintain

share the past few years.
