• Vengrove completes £25 million of mid-box logistics acquisitions: Vengrove has
acquired two UK mid-box logistics assets in Smethwick (West Midlands) and Warrington
(North West) for £24.65m on behalf of its VRE Evergreen Logistics Partners fund. The
197,000 sq ft portfolio comprises five units let to five tenants and aligns with Vengrove’s
strategy of investing in logistics assets in key urban and transport-linked locations across
the UK, Germany and France. With around half the income facing lease events within
three years, Vengrove plans to drive value through rent reversion, lease regears and
sustainability upgrades, while benefiting from a combination of defensive income and

• Hotel and PBSA deals dominate Scottish investment activity in second quarter:
Scottish commercial real estate investment volumes exceeded £350m in Q2 2025, up
21% year-on-year but still 7% below the five-year quarterly average, highlighting a
market that remains relatively subdued despite lower interest rates. Hotels and PBSA
dominated activity, accounting for 67% of transaction volume, led by the sale of the DWS
student housing portfolio and the circa £100m Cameron House Resort transaction.
Demand remains strongest for well-priced prime assets in logistics, retail warehousing
and high-quality PBSA, with private investors increasingly active as debt-backed buyers
