can integrate short-, medium- and long-range missiles, gun-based effectors, C-

UAS assets and EW/jamming elements. Thales also unveiled a vehicle-agnostic

mobile C-UAS architecture combining sensors, effectors and C2, while the SAMP/T

NG air-defence system continued to gain export momentum, with Kuwait and

Hungary reportedly evaluating procurement packages.

France’s selection of the Thundart rocket artillery system, jointly developed by

MBDA and Safran, to replace the French Army’s ageing LRU launcher was a key

highlight. The ITAR-free system directly reduces reliance on US-made GMLRS. This

sat alongside MBDA’s unveiling of the Land/Naval Cruise Missile Mk II, aimed at

improving range, survivability and lethality versus the current system. More

broadly, companies appeared increasingly focused on sovereign long-range strike

alternatives, particularly where non-European systems may be subject to export-
