We have recorded another video on AI, this time listing the next three things

we expect to see AI do in the UK Wealth market: turn passive platforms

into active ones; enable mass personalisation; and safely automate of tasks .

carrying regulatory risk. The final impact of these things will be of benefit to

the end clients in terms of price and convenience - the things which matter

most to them. There will be difficulties for listed firms though.

Making platforms active and increasing human capacity: Until now, people have logged in

to platforms and chosen what they want to do next. AI enables platforms to surface relevant

news, highlight clients to speak to, prepare to-do-lists and supporting materials etc. This should

save time and grow adviser capacity.

Personalisation at scale: Mass-market and bespoke services are no longer mutually exclusive.

Automation and efficiency make smaller clients economically viable for advisers, especially

as real tax thresholds keep falling. Deterministic models can guarantee accuracy in mattes of

fact, so hallucination risks are dwindling.

Automation with guardrails: The great promise of giving repetitive administrative tasks to a

machine is being delivered. AI is better than humans, even at reading handwriting now. FNZ

can imagine handing the execution of handwritten orders over to machines once there are

regular months without errors. Regulator confidence may lag, but as long as the law covers

the situation we can picture this happening soon.

Firms need to get ahead now: It is not yet clear whether there will be a first mover advantage,
