batteries' growing role in accelerating large-load interconnections and improving grid

reliability. Although higher GE Vernova manufacturing targets have sparked periodic

concerns that the gas turbine cycle may be peaking, we believe the combination of

persistent equipment shortages, multi-year hyperscaler spending, and growing reliance on

bridge power continues to support a constructive outlook for regulated utilities, independent

power producers, transmission infrastructure, and onsite generation.

◼ GEV: 30 for 30… and it’s nearly full already. GE Vernova's earnings reinforce that the

power supercycle remains in its early stages, with management's decision to expand gas

turbine manufacturing capacity to 30 GW by 2030 driven by already-contracted demand

rather than speculative growth. Importantly, the company noted production capacity is

effectively sold out through 2030, while Evercore argues backlog is unlikely to peak in 2026

as a growing installed base will increasingly consume factory capacity through long-term

service requirements. The report estimates HA-frame service demand alone could require

2–4 GW of annual production capacity after 2030, supporting utilization well beyond the

initial build cycle and creating a durable aftermarket revenue stream. In addition, stronger-

than-expected Power and Electrification orders, expanding margins, and nearly doubled free

cash flow guidance support higher estimates and reinforce confidence in continued earnings

momentum. While investors remain focused on whether gas turbine orders are nearing a

cyclical peak, the combination of record backlog, multi-year production visibility, growing
