617 859 4657 Key Message: We hosted a grand rounds call with an expert physician in clinical
diagnostics to discuss the recent Freenome SimpleScreen V2 prospective data readout
and implications for the non-invasive CRC screening space and MCED testing
landscape. Our key conclusions are that both stage I CRC and AA detection will be Ticker Price Rating
important to physicians and patients, and personal goals and preferences may inform CAI 16.49 Buy
which is given the most importance when choosing a test. While academic debates GH 155.87 Buy will focus on assay performance, real-world test selection will be driven by commercial
GRAL 72.62 Buy and logistic considerations, especially when performance is similar. The ABT/Freenome
partnership provides Freenome with valuable commercial infrastructure and resources to
meet these needs and GH continues to build out their strong commercial infrastructure.
This call also reinforced our view that MCED tests are complementary to, rather than
competing with, non-invasive CRC screening assays today, and that Galleri remains the
MCED market leader with the most robust dataset.
