CTAS: F4Q26 First Look: Strong Organic Growth Beat

Investment Thesis, Valuation and Risks
Cintas Corporation (CTAS)
Investment Thesis
We rate Cintas Overweight. It is well positioned to benefit from secular themes around outsourcing with LT opportunity to extend into
newer/large verticals and increase cross-sell with existing customers. Meanwhile, a clean balance sheet and strong FCF support capital
allocation opportunities. CTAS has shown greater resilience to rising unemployment compared to peers, which we attribute to its superior
service levels and diversified business model.
Target Price Valuation for CTAS
• Our $245 price target is based on 39x our FY28E EPS, reflecting a multiple at a discount to other best-in-class business services peers.
• We believe this multiple is justified by the company’s accelerating organic growth, and consistent performance in a challenging
environment, partially offset by margin pressures from elevated investments.
• We believe CTAS is better positioned than competitors to weather the tariff environment and see opportunity for share gains as
competitors struggle.
Risks to Our Price Target and Rating for CTAS
Upside risks include a stronger-than-expected economy, large M&A deals that accelerate growth, and stronger-than-expected incremental
margins.
Downside risks include a weaker economy, increased competitive pricing from peers as they defend market share, and greater-than-
expected negative impacts from tariffs.
