relative to Rb-82. It has superior signal to noise, dynamic range and spatial localization, facilitating
clearer assessment of perfusion defects, and more accurate blood flow quantification.
Further, unlike Rb-82, Flyrcado is compatible with exercise stress. Studies emphasizing improved
performance of Flyrcado in clinically difficult populations will likely help spur adoption, even in high
volume sites with favorable Rb-82 economics.
3rd party turnkey mobile service providers are key enablers, as they can obviate the need
for capital / manpower investments, esp. for smaller practices. GEHC has announced an
arrangement with CardioNavix, the largest provider, a good sign.
Workflow consequences of Flyrcado’s wait between rest and stress are somewhat problematic. In
our view, GEHC would do well to reliably avail customers of approved correction software that
allows back-to-back rest-stress or develop this internally.
Reimbursement remains attractive as the proposed '27 HOPPS shows PET CT perfusion
