Overall card spending was up 6.3% in June 10 July 2026
Total card spending per HH, as measured by BAC aggregated credit and debit cards, was Equity

Home improvement flat in 2Q26
2Q26 spending at home improvement retailers (a proxy for DIY demand) was flat YoY
(+11% vs. 2Q19 levels), an improvement from the 1% YoY decline in 1Q26. June
spending increased 3% YoY. Spending on housing-related services (a proxy for
professional contractor activity) rose 5% YoY in 2Q26 (+57% vs. 2Q19), accelerating
from 2% growth in 1Q26. We believe improving trends through the quarter were driven
