Boliden and Nexa confirmed discussions about a potential acquisition of Votorantim’s Global Emerging Markets | Corporate
64.7% stake in Nexa, though no agreement has been reached. Boliden appears to be a Credit
credible strategic buyer and an IG-type credit, though not rated by S&P/Fitch/Moody’s. LatAm | Peru
Metals & MiningRating agencies will therefore need to assess Boliden’s credit profile and, more
importantly, how strategic Nexa would be within the new group before deciding whether Carlos Assumpcao, CFA
