Within the MLCC industry, expectations for price hikes remain among some investors. hazel.xue@bofa.com

Market speculation regarding price increases originating from Taiwan and other places

in Asia also generated a sensitive reaction. However, domestic MLCC makers remain

cautious about raising prices. Instead, many investors favor a positive view on Murata

Mfg (6981), based on the expectation that the company will benefit from higher ASPs

that the increasing production difficulty of MLCCs for AI servers will widen the BBU: Battery Backup Unit
