Meet the Speakers

Mr Daegeon Lee is a retail and merchandising professional with more than 13 years of

experience at Hyundai Department Store, specializing in luxury retail, beauty

merchandising, brand management, and commercial strategy.

As Sales Manager at Hyundai Department Store, he has held a range of progressively

responsible roles across sales operations, buying, merchandising strategy, and store

development. Since 2023, he has focused on luxury goods and cosmetics at the Trade

Center store in Seoul, leading store renovation, relocation, and launch projects for

international luxury brands.

Meet the Analysts

Carole Madjo is a senior analyst in the European Luxury

Goods coverage team in Barclays’ Equity Research group,

based in London. She joined Barclays in March 2021,

having spent 3.5 years at Exane BNP Paribas. She

graduated from Sciences Po Paris with a Masters in

Finance and Business Strategy and also holds a Bachelor

in Chinese studies.
