RAIL: Government signs an MRS MOU to advance São Paulo's Ferroanel
According to CNN Brasil, the Transport Ministry and MRS Logística signed a non-
binding cooperative MOU on Monday (29) for studies and design of São Paulo's
Ferroanel, a roughly 50km freight bypass north of the capital (partly alongside
Rodoanel Norte) meant to separate cargo from CPTM passenger lines and ease the
flow of interior São Paulo trains toward the Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo ports.
