WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: Divergent’s Monolith One is a 24kW industrial metal

3D printer developed in 28 months and deployed exclusively within its vertically

integrated DAPS platform. The company has six units in operation and plans to scaleDEFENSE to 64 more at its new 430,000 sq. ft. Long Beach facility, driving an expected 8x

increase in output and ~2x throughput versus legacy systems. Monolith One is already

supporting programs including Family of Affordable Mass Missiles (FAMM), Low-

Cost Containerized Missiles (LCCM), and Tomahawk, positioning Divergent to scale

■ Monolith One: a next-gen 3D printer designed and built by Divergent in 28

months. Divergent describes Monolith One as the most advanced industrial

metal 3D printer in the US. It is a laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) printer that

delivers 24kW of laser power (via 12 2kW lasers). The printer is compatibleREPORT with any industry standard alloy, including aluminum, nickel, steel, and titanium,

and is not commercially available to purchase or license (a key element of the
