lower WACC expectations to 11% (from 12% prior), we simultaneously lower our long-

dated top-line growth assumptions on intensifying competition in the space.

• PTC Inc. (Underweight): Deep Enterprise Lock-In Masks Growing Competitive

and Execution Risk. PTC's portfolio, anchored by Windchill and Creo, holds deep

enterprise entrenchment in automotive and aerospace, with near-monopoly

characteristics in some accounts, supported by tightly integrated, cross-product lock-in

that makes wholesale platform replacement rare and disruptive. Nevertheless, the

company faces meaningful execution risk around its ongoing SaaS transition via the Atlas

platform, which requires de-customizing deeply customized enterprise implementations

and risks alienating the installed base. Its comparatively narrow ecosystem relative to

Siemens and Dassault creates exposure as buyers increasingly seek integrated, end-to-

end solutions. AI initiatives (positioning Windchill as the clean-data consolidation layer)

and vertical go-to-market efforts are strategically encouraging, but sustained competitive

pressure from Siemens Teamcenter and Dassault CATIA, the PLM revenue leader and the

body-in-white/simulation leader, respectively,constrains the near-term opportunity set.
