We recently hosted a meeting with Lifetime Investimento's CEO and founder: Mr. Beatriz Shinye
Fernando Katsonis. Lifetime Investimentos is an investment advisory firm founded Associate Analyst
in 2011 and entered a partnership with BTG Pactual in 2020. The company has beatriz.shinye@ubs.com
currently 11 branches widespread in the country and about ~R$30bn of assets under +55-11-2767 6569
custody (AuC). While it is a challenging environment, the company aims to reach R
$100bn in some years through a combination of a client base increase, higher share
of wallet in the current clients, which should lead to an increase on its average
ticket. Management highlighted opportunities ahead in the offshore business that is
still relatively small in Brazil. The non-investment segments of Lifetime (insurance,
corporate, investment banking) is gaining relevance over time, a trend that should
continue going forward. Note that Lifetime has a partnership with BTG Pactual and
directly competes with the banks in our coverage. See below the main takes of the
meeting:
Lifetime's client profile: the company is focusing on clients with over R$ 3 mn
of investments, but the average ticket of the company is higher (about R$
10mn). The private business of incumbent banks and also the financial
advisory companies are the main competitors of Lifetime.
