Even as spending trends continue to look strong, with 3rd party data indicating

accelerating spending growth into May, we continue to monitor the health of the

overall consumer as inflation continues to accelerate, all as rates may be ticking up

later this year.

In news that should shock no one covering the space, IT Services had a tough week

with the group down -16.5% as ACN’s 3Q26 earnings (link) brought the whole

sector down (although the sector was also underperforming before results with

our group down -4.1% on avg. through Wednesday). Before the print, investor

concern was elevated around outsized impacts from the conflict in the Middle East

and the looming threat of AI. ACN's call affirmed many of the fears on the Middle

East with the company noting a ~$100m impact to 3Q26 revenue (primarily skewed
