According to MegaWhat, the National Electric System Operator (ONS) will follow

three criteria to define the flow margin of battery projects for the reserve capacity

auctions in the form of power (LRCAPs) in December. The objective is to ensure that

storage systems can be loaded and discharged daily without transmission

restrictions, preventing the equipment from absorbing energy surpluses during the

day, but not being able to drain at night, which makes it unfeasible to use it the next
