BNDES, Nelson Barbosa, said on Monday (15) that the facilitated credit package for

batteries that meet the local content conditions of the first auction in the sector

will leave the cost to these agents close to or equal to that of imported projects.

This lower cost of capital, said the executive, has already aroused the interest of

the market, which can access even more advantageous financing if, in addition to

using national services and components, it actually installs plants and develops

battery technology in Brazil, where they will have the demand for auctions and

supply of raw material (critical minerals). According to BNDES, European and

Chinese companies, as well as the Brazilian WEG, have already moved in this
