As firmly expected, the ECB just hiked the depo rate by 25bps to 2.25%. According to Economist

As regards the policy outlook the ECB avoided clear guidance and stuck to the now

New macro projections and alternative scenarios

As expected, the ECB's updated macro projections show a downgrade to the growth

outlook and upward revisions to inflation. Revisions to headline inflation were close to

our expectations, with upward adjustments of 0.4pp and 0.3pp for 2026 and 2027,

respectively, to 3.0% and 2.3%, while the 2028 forecast was nudged down by 0.1pp to

2.0%.
