Payments, Processors & IT Services

Reminder: Recent trends in cobrand and

private label cards with Gate One Group

Invitation

Topic 11 June 2026

Please join us on June 12th at 10:00 AM ET for a Zoom with John Grund, founder of Gate Equity

One Group and one of the most experienced advisors in the cobrand and private label United States

business. Across a 20-plus year run at First Annapolis ahead of its sale to Accenture - Payments, Processors & IT Services

and now at Gate One, John has played a deep advisory role in many of the most

transformative cobrand and private label programs in North America. His work spans

retail, travel and lodging, fintech and affinity, advising through multiple credit cycles,

market disruptions, and the current wave of innovation. Critically, he sits on both sides

of the table: for the banks and networks that issue these programs, and for the airline,

hotel and retail partners that own the customer relationships.

Regardless of your sector focus the time will be well spent given John’s unique vantage

point: 1) Financials/payments investors - a read on renewal economics and timing, the

issuer competitive set, private label vs. cobrand mix, and regulatory dynamics. 2)

Airline/lodging investors - a candid view of loyalty and cobrand remuneration (often a

disproportionate share of partner profitability) and how negotiating leverage is shifting

at the renewal table. 3) Retail investors - the stage of store-card and cobrand

economics, the durability of credit income, and what’s changing in the partner-issuer

relationships. There will be prepared remarks, sector focused discussions, followed by

ample time for Q&A.
