ogical catalyst for future modernization. Although there is no direct evidence yet that AI is
causing a major near term acceleration in Guidewire cloud migrations, insurers increasingly recognize that legacy on premise
systems will struggle to support modern digital features. Consequently, transitioning to the cloud is seen as a necessary step
to better position carriers to leverage advanced AI capabilities as they become available.
■ Customers want AI. While customers are increasingly inquiring about GWRE's AI capabilities, actual adoption will likelyRESEARCH be controlled and gradual because insurers remain highly cautious about integrating large language models directly into
regulated, compliance-heavy core systems. Although GWRE's overall AI strategy is still a work in progress, clients are
actively requesting targeted solutions to streamline manual operations. Carriers are asking for AI tools capable of extracting
information from exposure sheets and underwriting documents to automatically populate structured policy attributes.
Similarly, customers want an AI-driven experience in claims that consolidates data from multiple screens into a single unified
view. This would allow adjusters, agents, and customers to instantly understand claim statuses and next steps without
manually inspecting disparate notes and payment fields. GWRE will likely include minor system enhancements in standard
product updates, whereas larger capabilities like a unified claims communication module could be monetized separately.
■ PricingCenter. GWRE's PricingCenter aims to streamline how insurance carriers manage complex rating logic by embedding
these capabilities directly within its ecosystem.
