CFO meet and greet + investor appearance 09 June 2026
Earlier, Neutral-rated Upstart (UPST) hosted a meet and greet with sell-side analysts and Equity
its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Andrea Blankmeyer. It also presented at a
Mihir Bhatia
conference. The overall message was one of tighter execution, not strategy change: Research Analyst
management is focused on responsible growth, clearer disclosures and restoring margin BofAS mihir.bhatia@bofa.com

BofASCFO focused on responsible growth + clear communication
Our main takeaway from Upstart’s analyst meeting was not a strategic pivot, but tighter Natalie Howe
execution discipline. New CFO Andrea Blankmeyer framed the priority as responsible BofAS
growth, with focus on liquidity, treasury and capital planning so the model can stay Caroline Latta
resilient through cycles. Ms. Blankmeyer noted that communicating early and effectively Research Analyst
BofAS
was a priority and also appears open to improving disclosures, including potential GAAP
Lawrence Aydlett
net income/EPS guidance and more monthly or segment-level detail. We view that as a Research Analyst
modest but meaningful positive that could improve transparency and investor BofAS
understanding of the business.
