Global equities fell on new clashes and potential issuance 09 June 2026

Global equity markets fell -2.2% last week as clashes in the Middle East sparked higher Quant Strategy

oil prices, and significant quantity of potential AI-related equity issuance spooked some Global

investors. Nonetheless, the Global Earnings Revision Ratio was unchanged, and the

Global News Pulse moderated only slightly from 47% to 46%. All major regions posted

negative returns last week, and the worst performing region was the US (-2.5%). Among
