Amazon opens Northampton fulfilment centre as part of £1bn UK investment. Amazon has
opened a new fulfilment centre in Northampton and plans an additional site in Kettering as part

this morning. The Northampton facility includes advanced robotics across three floors, while
the Kettering site will serve as the UK’s largest cross-dock operation. This forms part of
Amazon’s broader £40bn UK investment plan for 2025–27 and accompanies further
infrastructure developments including a London HQ expansion and new logistics capabilities.
Bershka launches FIFA World Cup capsule collection with Outerstuff. Inditex-owned Bershka
has partnered with licensed supplier Outerstuff to launch a football-themed capsule collection
ahead of the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup, featuring apparel inspired by national teams including
England, France, Argentina and Brazil, reported Drapers yesterday. The range spans fashion-led
adaptations of kits across categories such as T-shirts, swimwear and outerwear.
NEXT backs launch of new womenswear brand Cerene. Former AllSaints COO Catherine
Scorey Jobling has co-founded womenswear brand Cerene, backed by NEXT, with a planned
launch on 1 September 2026, reported Drapers yesterday. Companies House filings show NEXT
holds an equity stake and has appointed CFO Jonathan Blanchard and investments director
Jeremy Stakol as directors, while Scorey Jobling will serve as CEO alongside co-founder and
creative director Rebecca Nye.
