Stellantis to Invest Over €1B in France for Peugeot Models

• Stellantis will invest ~€1.2bn at its Mulhouse site to produce three electric and hybrid Peugeot models from 2029, reinforcing France’s role in the group’s electrification strategy.

• Around €500m of the investment will support French R&D and engineering operations, including sites in the Paris region, Sochaux and Belchamp. French engineers will develop Stellantis’

new STLA One platform, positioned as a fully France-led program.

Honda has cancelled its previous long-term EV sales targets

• Honda has scrapped its long-term EV sales targets and indefinitely paused its $11bn Canadian EV and battery manufacturing project, citing weaker EV economics. The group is pivoting

away from pure EVs, cancelling key EV programs (0-Series, Acura RSX) and increasing focus on HEVs and PHEVs after its first-ever annual loss.
