eventually be bundled into iCloud+ or a broader Apple One
subscription, creating a natural path for Apple to convert engagement
into incremental services revenue.
Apple Intelligence Expansion: Beyond Siri, Apple Intelligence will be
embedded more deeply into everyday workflows across the system. In
Photos, Apple is adding more editing features, including Spatial
Reframing, Extend and an upgraded Clean Up tool, while Image
Playground is gaining photorealistic image generation and more ways
to modify images. Safari is also getting Apple Intelligence-powered tab
organization, a Notify Me feature that can monitor web pages for
changes like restocks or price drops, and a Describe an Extension tool
that lets users create custom Safari extensions by describing what they
want. Messages and Mail are also getting more contextual suggestions,
including one-tap actions in conversations, smarter photo search,
improved Smart Reply that can reflect a user’s writing style, and more
capable suggestions that can work with third-party apps.
Privacy Remaining Forefront: Apple emphasized that the new Apple
Intelligence architecture is built privacy-first and uses next-generation
Apple Foundation Models that run both on device and on servers using
Apple’s Private Cloud Compute. Apple said the latest Foundation
Models were custom-built in collaboration with Google and its Gemini
models, which should give Apple a stronger model foundation while
preserving Apple’s control over the user experience and privacy
architecture. The company also noted that Private Cloud Compute
extends the privacy and security model of iPhone into the cloud, with
