Expanding portfolio to address a bigger opportunity. As a part of their AI security
portfolio, Zscaler talked primarily about AI Asset Management and AI Broker (or
Secure AI Access). The AI Asset Management product looks to give enterprises
visibility into the agents within their environment, giving a full assessment of risk
(discover embedded AI in SaaS / Internet traffic, identify AI agents & MCP in public
cloud, code scanning, extend visibility to AI activity on endpoints). Secure AI Access,
utilizing the AI Broker, determines for agents what the identity is, what the task
trying to be accomplished is, assesses the intent/risk and allows/denies access to
tools, data, workflows based on the risk assessment. As noted above, eventually
there will be more SecOps tools to automatically remediate some of these findings,
utilizing some of the Red Canary assets, but for now those are still part of the
future roadmap.
Challenge is predicting sales cycles as number of stakeholders increase. The
question was asked at the investor session as to how this time period of massive AI
adoption compared to COVID when organizations had to adopt tools quickly that
would allow for remote access. Jay Chaudhry, CEO, noted that the concern around
the problem is greater, as AI security has risen to a board-level discussion, but as a
result, can ultimately be a slower decision. Customers are looking to report steps
that they are taking to the board at frequent intervals to let them know they are
getting their arms around the problem / solution. That's why the four-step process
Zscaler laid out today could resonate with customers. It won't lead to tons of AI
