Canadian-Listed ETF Weekly Flows Recap [May 29 - Jun 4]

Equity ETFs remained the primary driver of flows last week, attracting +$2.3 billion.

• Within broad equities, U.S.-focused ETFs led with +$759 million, followed by Canadian (+$454 million), EAFE (+$127 million), and international mandates (+$68 million), while

emerging markets recorded a third consecutive week of outflows (-$45 million).

• Sector flows were broadly positive, led by technology (+$127 million), with additional inflows into utilities (+$62 million), energy (+$28 million), and financials (+$23 million).

ORBX saw its AUM grew by 51% in anticipation of upcoming megacap IPOs.

• On the factor side, value ETFs extended their momentum into June with +$107 million of inflows, while ESG funds sharply reversed course (-$311 million), largely driven by XSEM.

Fixed income ETFs saw net redemptions of -$328 million.

• Outflows were primarily driven by aggregate bond ETFs (-$365 million), partially offset by continued demand for investment-grade products, which attracted +$149 million in net

creations.

• From the duration lens, most segments recorded net redemptions, from long-duration to cash-like positions, except for short-term bonds' resiliency.

Gold bullion ETFs recorded -$134 million in net outflows, marking their largest weekly redemption since July 2025.

All-equity ETFs (+$600 million) continued to lead asset allocation inflows, followed by balanced (+$183 million) and growth (+$136 million) names.
