1. ADM's Nutrition segment contributes ~$7.5bn in sales to overall results with two key growth

areas – Human and Animal Nutrition. Within Human Nutrition, the company sees a ~$34bn TAM

with growth driven by specialty ingredients, flavors, and health & wellness. The business is

benefiting from structural tailwinds such as rising protein demand as well as increasing

consumer focus on health and clean-label products that are expected to drive meaningful

segment gains.

2. Management believes the Specialty Ingredients sub-segment is turning around following

several years of weakness, supported by supply chain reorganization and favorable consumer

trends. The Decatur East plant is now fully operational, eliminating an approximate $25 million

quarterly headwind, split evenly between customer-related costs and supply chain

inefficiencies. Management highlighted three key growth areas: textures (~$2 billion TAM),

wholesome grains (~$2 billion), and protein (~$5 billion TAM), which is driven by structural

tailwinds such as GLP-1 adoption and population growth. Margins are expected to improve,

supported by an easy comp base.

3. Health & Wellness is seen as the fastest growing pillar of the business with consumers zeroing

in on functional nutrition such as prebiotics/fiber, probiotics, postbiotics that ADM views as a

$3bn TAM opportunity. ADM sees its clinically supported products as an advantage as it drives a

premium positioning and helps the customer value proposition. Longer term, growth should
